Don’t forget tonight is our monthly meeting at Pagliai’s Pizza in Carbondale, IL at 6:00 pm. Come out and join us for some astronomy talks and some good pizza! You do not have to be a member to attend our meetings.

Our regular monthly meeting is this coming Monday, February 10. We meet at 6:00 pm at Pagliai’s Pizza in Carbondale, IL. This month we have a guest speaker. Chuck Allen, Secretary of the Astronomical League will be talking about some of the League’s new programs and will be giving a presentation titled ‘Cosmic Horizons’. This will be a meeting you will not want to miss.

Join us tonight, October 14th at 6:00 pm in the back room at Pagliai’s Pizza for our regular monthly meeting. We have a guest speaker, Matt Linsin, who will talk about astrophotography, what works,what dosen’t and Q & A.

Don’t forget our monthly meeting is this coming Monday at 6:00 pm in the back room at Pagliai’s Pizza in Carbondale. We will be reviewing the Star Party and Fred will have a presentation on last month’s eclipse. And we will have “What’s in the Sky Tonight” for August.

We are getting more telescopes for the Library Telescope Loan program. Anyone who wants to be part of the build team let me know. The build date is Saturday August 24th in St Louis. More information at the meeting. Hope to see you there!

Tonight, July 9th, is our regular monthly meeting.  I have a lot to talk about tonight, many upcoming opportunities for outreach.

Our next monthly meeting is Monday February 12th at 6pm in the back room at Pagliai’a Pizza in Carbondale. The presentation will be how to clean the mirror in a reflecting telescope and how to collimate the telescope when done.  I hope to see everyone there!
